PIPOC 2011 Conference Papers
Members of AOMG presented papers at PIPOC 2011 which was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur from 15-17 November 2011.
There were about 2500 participants.
Dr Kongkrapan Intarajang from Emery Oleochemicals Group chaired the Plenary Lecture "Current and Future Issues and Challenges for the Oleochemical Industry" The speaker was Alan Brunskill, a former chairman of AOMG (1998-99) & MOMG (1999-2003).
Mr Tan Kean Hua chaired Session 1 : Caring for the Environment at the Oleo and Speciality Chemicals Conference. Dr Surina Ismail from Emery Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd spoke on "Impact of Regulations on Oleochemical Downstream Industry" and Qua Kiat Seng, AOMG Advisor, on "Making RSPO Work Throughout the Supply Chain".
Dr Kongkrapan delivered the final paper in Session 6 : Changing Landscape of Oleochemical Business. His paper was titled "Transforming Oleochemical Landscape - The Way Forward for South East Asia".
